| Caring for the Glen of Imaal The Glen of Imaal is an easy dog to look after, being very laid back and almost too easy going if that's possible..!! ..?? A Glen may look small but he thinks and eats big! He also needs a lot of exercise once he is beyond the puppy stage. Remember that with a puppy you must start with short periods of exercise and then extend it gradually - don't attempt a five mile walk the first day |

| Late onset PRA has been recently diagnosed in Glens, The Glen of Imaal Terrier Association runs a subsidised eye testing scheme for all its members at their shows. If and when purchasing a puppy, always ask if the parents have been eye tested annually and have a up to date eye test Certificate. If you want to know more about being owned by a Glen, any one already owned will be happy to talk to you. If you don't know of anyone near you, please contact the Association and we will do all we can to advise and assist you. | |||||
