The Glen of Imaal Terrier Association is the only Kennel club recognised and registered Breed Club or Association for GLENS in the UK.
If you were considering ownership then there is no-one better to have a chat with than GOITA. With 25 years as an association behind us we have a wealth of experience and intimate knowledge of the breed, we have members with litters available fairly regularly and can always help out if you are looking for a breeder to adopt from, whether for the show ring or just as a family pet.

Please feel free to get in touch with us if you should want any information on the breed or buying a puppy. There are not very many breed clubs in the world for Glens and even less in Europe so it can be hard to find good quality advice on the breed and harder still to find it close enough to home to warrant it being useful.

The Glen of Imaal Terrier Association strongly advise that prospective owners of Glens should see a full grown dog before purchase. For addresses of those members willing to show off their dogs please contact the secretary. The Association will only recommend puppies whose parents have a sound temperament and who hold a current eye certificate. You may have to be prepared to travel.
