	Meet the Association -
	Patrons: Professor Peter Bedford Jim Parsons Jan Fennel -The Dog Listener Oonagh Preece The Glen of Imaal Terrier Association are a non-profit organisation The committee are here to serve the membership of the Glen of Imaal Terrier Association, however help is always extended to anyone who is a member of the glen family. OFFICERS AND COMMITTEE

	CHAIRMAN Regional co-ordinator	Mr. Melvyn Hardy	MelvynHardy@GlenofImaal.info
	Mel chairs the committee meetings. He is the backbone of Discover Dogs at both Earl’s Court and Cruft’s. The Printer in Chief, he prints the magazine, all the pictures and anything else the Association needs. He has recently taken on the the responsibility of management and administration of our website.

	VICE CHAIR	Mrs. Valerie Harley	ValerieHarley@GlenofImaal.info
	As Vice-Chairman, Val would chair any meeting that Mel did not attend. She ably assists her husband Don in the kitchen at all our shows. Her expertise with a bacon butty has to be seen to be believed.

	SECRETARY Puppy enquiries and Discover Dogs	Mrs Anne Hardy	AnneHardy@GlenofImaal.info 01777 703417
	Anne takes all the minutes at committee meetings, organises the shows, runs the puppy register and is available as a contact point for anyone with queries about the breed, as indeed all the committee are. Grass Roots, the rescue service for the club, is organised from her kennels at her home address

	TREASURER North Region	Mr. Noel Quinn	NoelQuinn@GlenofImaal.info
	Noel is responsible for Accounts of the club, he also keeps track of all the stock that the association holds. Currently Membership Secretary, Noel is also responsible for the membership list

	NEWS EDITOR	Mrs. Nicky Atkin	NickyAtkin@GlenofImaal.info
	Nicky collates the articles and stories as well as writing regular features for our magazine “Roaming Thro’ the Glen”. She is a stalwart of Discover Dogs and will pressgang anyone into writing articles

	HEALTH CO-ORDINATOR	Mr. Donald Harley	DonaldHarley@GlenofImaal.info
	Don co-ordinates health issues and reports back to the committee. He is also available if you have any queries on health issues Don also organises the catering at our shows and rules the kitchen with a rod of iron

	ARCHIVIST	Mrs. Ann Quinn	AnnQuinn@GlenofImaal.info
	Ann holds the records of The Association. At the Silver Jubilee AGM and Open Show she made a silver poster showing the first ever association show and past exhibitors. A keen photographer she also keeps the pictorial records up to date

	49ers SECRETARY	Mrs. Cresta Garner	CrestaGarner@GlenofImaal.info
	Cresta organises and runs the funding for the health and welfare of the Glen as a breed. This funding is raised exclusively by and from our members and is used for the benefit of the Glen as a breed

	WORKING CORRESPONDENT	Mr. Stephen Holmes	StephenHolmes@GlenofImaal.info
	Stephen is mainly interested in the working aspect of the Glen. His brief is the research of different pedigrees, so hopefully we may be able to increase the gene pool. He also represents the Glen at Game Fairs throughout the country.

	KENNEL CLUB GOOD CITIZEN, GAME FAIR & EXHIBITIONS	Mr. Jason Atkin	JasonAtkin@GlenofImaal.info
	Jason is a retired gamekeeper and is primarily interested in the working aspect of the Glen. He is the official club adjudicator at the Kennel Club Good Citizens tests, having attended seminars at the Kennel Club. He also represents the breed at Game fairs, exhibitions and Discover Dogs.

	JUDGES COMMITTEE	Fran Kaye	FranKaye@GlenofImaal.info
	Fran serves on the Championship Show committee of The Glen of Imaal Association. She brings an enormous wealth of experience to the committee and is a valued committee member

	SHOW MANAGER & CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW STEWARD	Jenny Lowe	JennyLowe@GlenofImaal.info
	There cannot be many people as experienced as Jenny at stewarding and show management. Her expertise guarantees the smooth running of the shows. Her knowledge of committee protocol is second to none

	JOINT WEBSITE CO-ORDINATOR & FUN DAY ORGANISER	Mrs. Lynne Fraser	lynne.fraser@tesco.net
	Lynne sees to the day to day running of the website and (foolish girl) has volunteered to organise and run the Associations proposed fun day later in 2008

	LEGAL EAGLE	Mr. Ian Hirsch	IanHirsch@GlenofImaal.info
	Ian has a vast wealth of experience in legal, political and practical matters. He speaks with a great deal of gravitas on most subjects and is held with the utmost esteem and respect by all at the Association.
